FREE: ARCHITECTURE PAPERS
NOW AVAILABLE ON CD-ROM
The
Specialty Steel Industry of North America (SSINA) and the Nickel Institute
are making available on CD-ROM a series of papers related to the use of nickel-containing
stainless steel in architecture. Included are 54 technical papers on how stainless
steel is used in building exteriors (roofing, flashing, copings, doors, fasteners,
wall ties, rebar and structural steel) and interiors (kitchens, sinks, floors,
piping, handrails, and details). In addition, specialized topics such as stainless
steel finishes, fabrication, machining, welding and cleaning are also covered.
Stainless steel offers many advantages and creative possibilities for architects
and this literature explains the material in great depth.
If you are an architect
