The International Stainless Steel Forum

Its vision is to sustain our future with stainless steels

The International Stainless Steel Forum (ISSF), of which SSINA is a member, is a not-for-profit research and market development organisation, which was founded in 1996 and serves as the focal point for the global stainless steel industry. Its vision is to sustain our future with stainless steels.

The Forum has recently released a new website. worldstainless.org aims to be the most comprehensive site for anyone interested in stainless steels. The navigation and look & feel of the website have been upgraded to a more contemporary level. A key feature of the new site is the responsive design, which means that its content will display well on all devices, be it a mobile phone, tablet or computer.

The content has also been revised, keeping the relevant and valuable content and adding new content where appropriate. The site has five core sections which inform about stainless steels, their sustainability credentials, their uses and applications, industry statistics and education and training. The latter section offers the opportunity to learn more about this stunning family of hygienic, corrosion-resistant fully recyclable alloys.

One additional section also explains about the role and objectives of the ISSF. For members there is a protected part of the website in which they can find information on meetings and key projects including all related key documents.

We hope everyone enjoys a good browsing experience on worldstainless.org!
